This project reimagines a selected excerpt from Boy Parts, the explosive debut novel by Eliza Clark, through a bold graphic design lens. Known for its dark humor and unapologetic exploration of sexuality, gender, and societal deviance, Boy Parts serves as fertile ground for experimental visual translation.
The aim is not merely to illustrate, but to amplify the novel’s visceral tone—its sharp, disturbing, and often absurd narrative voice—by translating textual violence, fragmentation, and irony into typographic tension, spatial disruption, and subversive visual structures. The design responds directly to the novel’s unfiltered energy, reflecting its defiance of aesthetic and moral norms.
